Cellulite Removal Cellulite, which tends to affect women more than men, is a common aesthetic problem involving the flow of tissue and circulation. When the flow of the vascular and lymphatic system are restricted, abnormal fat nodules form, generally in the thigh and buttocks area, and lead to an uneven appearance in the skin. It is hard to pinpoint any one cause of cellulite, but some factors that contribute to the formation of these fat deposits include gender and age, skin thickness and amount of body fat, and genetics.

Mesotherapy is the most widely used procedure for cellulite reduction and removal. The procedure essentially involves the injection of compounds to increase blood flow, encourage lymph drainage, and break down the fat. Depending on the medical situation, your doctor may also choose to use endermologie.

LipoDissolve™ is a cellulite removal injection and is considered an advanced form of Mesotherapy.  The injection process is the same except LipoDissolve has a higher concentration of the active fat dissolving ingredient.  With this concentrated form, LipoDissolve offers better results with fewer injections needed.  Most patients start out with Mesotherapy and, if they enjoy the results, move on to LipoDissolve.

VelaSmooth is an advanced cellulite treatment that involves no downtime and relatively quick treatments, as well as little discomfort (many patients compare it to a deep massage!). VelaSmooth is emerging as the favored cellulite treatment.
