At nearly 70 years old, Goldie Hawn looks better than most people her age. Is plastic surgery involved? Her recent appearance as a guest host for the Oscars has renewed public interest in Goldie Hawn’s dabbles in cosmetic surgery.
According to a recent claim in the National Enquirer, Goldie Hawn may be receiving cosmetic treatments. With the latest Hollywood sightings reporting that Goldie Hawn is looking not only tanned but more toned and fresh than in the past few years, massive rumors have been launched about her possible plastic and cosmetic surgery.
“Goldie looks 20 years younger than she did just two years ago,” claims celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, who has not treated Hawn personally. Goldie Hawn has been in the public spotlight for nearly a half a century. She was first launched into superstardom in 1968 as the bikini wearing blonde (and proud of it) on the popular television show, “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In.” The following year she won the prestigious Academy Award for the comedy film “Cactus Flower” and started a film career with such hits as “Private Benjamin” and “The Sugarland Express” (1974).
The award-winning actress has already admitted to having her eyes done. Additional reports by the Enquirer uncovered two instances of possible face-lifts. Despite swearing off any more extreme plastic surgery, Hawn purportedly started Perlane treatments, an injectable filler that softens wrinkles. In the opinion of Dr. Youn, “I suspect Goldie has had Botox injections to smooth forehead wrinkles and lift her eyebrows. It also appears that she’s undergone injections of a filler like Juvederm to plump her lips and smooth her smile lines.
Her skin looks pristine, which may be due to several laser treatments, such as the Syneron CO2RE system for skin tightening.”
According to Dr. Youn’s estimates, the procedures would have cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $8,000 but we think millionaire Goldie Hawn can afford the bill. If not, she could always pawn off her Oscar.
