Poor Bruce Jenner cannot seem to get a break. Dealing with estranged wife and those wild and ‘krazy’ Kardashians really take a toll. In a recent paparazzi field day, Bruce’s face revealed a heavily wrinkled jawline from botched plastic surgery and aging.
While the former Olympian has been mostly candid about past plastic surgery gone awry, the 64-year old's recent appearance at a Starbucks has shown the full extent of the stress and age has done to the retired athlete. After an unsuccessful facelift and nose job in the 1980s, and further endeavors to fix what went in 2009 and later, it seems age is catching up with Bruce Jenner.
Bruce has been subject to a lot of rumors recently regarding his ongoing effort to change his appearance; some of which have been perpetuated by his own family most notoriously Kim Kardashian. No stranger to rumor herself, the nearly 35 year old media personality showcased Bruce's private surgery history in a blog back in 2009.
Not wanting to waste an opportunity for media attention, Bruce's family cheered him on as he went under the knife on an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians". The surgery was intended to correct the original botched procedure from the 1980s. At the time, Kim felt the surgery was a success: "The results are amazing! Bruce looks better than ever and he is extremely happy with the result."
Later, Bruce explained his awkward 1980s plastic surgery on Access Holiday. "I had just gone through my second divorce, lost a lot of money. I was in a little dinky house." For a while, everything seemed okay. However, following the split from his second wife, the rumor mill has started up again. The latest unrelenting Hollywood gossip is that Bruce is considering gender reassignment.
In June 2013, Bruce Jenner appeared on Jimmy Fallon on his talk show to express his displeasure over being once more the source of media scuttlebutt: "I'm not trying to hide anything, I am from the Kardashian group. We can take anything." I am sure we will find out soon enough, and if we miss anything, there are always the re-runs...
