Lip Augmentation

Lip Augmentation Lip augmentation is broadly defined as surgical and non-surgical lip enhancement. While surgical lip augmentation should only be performed by a board certified plastic surgeon, there are many forms of non-surgical lip augmentation offered by aesthetic professionals.

Most often, filler products like Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane, Radiance, CosmoDerm and Collagen are used to not only get rid of stubborn lip wrinkles, but they also plump up the lips.  Made just under the surface of the skin, these injections also work to define the lips better, making it easier to apply lipstick and gloss.

Surgical lip augmentation options include lip reduction, lip implants, or lip lifts. Patients wanting a more permanent solution to asymmetrical, uneven or thin lips will find that lip augmentation surgery can enhance both the shape and position of the mouth—not to mention create a fuller, more defined lip appearance.

During a consultation, an aesthetic professional can inform you of your options and give you an exact idea of what treatments would work the best for you.

Time Required for Lip Augmentation:
Surgical: 1-2 hours

Non-Surgical: About 30 minutes
