Dr. William J. Welsh is a plastic surgeon who holds a Board Certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In 1974, Dr. Welsh graduated with his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia’s School of Medicine. After graduating with his Medical Degree, Dr. Welsh stayed at the Medical College of Georgia’s School of medicine to complete his General Surgery Internship.

He also completed his Otolaryngology residency, and Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the Medical College of Georgia’s School of Medicine. Dr. Welsh travelled to Boston University to complete his Plastic Surgery Residency. From there, Dr. Welsh completed his Fellowship at the Abteilung fut Wiederhellerstrung Chirugie in Vienna, Austria.

Dr. Welsh is currently associated with the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is affiliated with three different hospitals around the Augusta, Georgia area. These hospitals include: Trinity Hospital, Doctors Hospital and University Hospital.
