Zsa Zsa Gabor’s eccentric husband Prince Fredric von Anhalt has had a botched plastic and cosmetic surgery procedure and has stated he intends to sue.
The now 70 year old royal informed TMZ on Monday that he a typical “routine” procedure to his face but that the surgery went completely and horribly wrong. The Sidney Morning Herald states, “’They made me look like a monster!’ said the Prince, who wouldn't say what the procedure was meant to do in the first place. Von Anhalt's lawyer wouldn’t tell the gossip site exactly what the procedure was for either, but said they will sue if the damage can’t be reversed.”
Hollywood.com corroborates the report, saying: “Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband is threatening legal action against his plastic surgeon after a cosmetic procedure left him with a badly swollen face. Prince Frederic von Anhalt went under the knife for a mystery routine operation on Monday (09 Jun14), but the surgery has caused the 70 year old's face to swell up so much, his eyes appear to be almost closed.”
As technology in the field improves, plastic surgery is steadily becoming safer and increasingly cost-efficient. As more celebrities and models reveal their plastic surgeries and treatments, the stigma that once tabooed plastic surgery will slowly give way to support and acceptance. Plastic surgery is not for everyone, and nobody should feel they have to receive treatments. However, plastic surgery should also remain available for everybody without a person feeling embarrassed or ashamed about receiving consultation and treatment. The choice is up to you.
