Lark Voorhees, better known as Lisa Turtle, may be 'Saved By the Bell' but she may not be Saved By the Surgeon. For the past few years, the former television star has been source of a lot of media scuttlebutt concerning plastic surgery.
In the years following her run on the cult favorite television show (and syndication favorite) Saved By the Bell, Lark Voorhees has purportedly gotten substantial cosmetic surgery. Recently the relatively reclusive actress made a public appearance at a showbiz event, prompting new rumors of plastic and cosmetic surgery.
Beauty, fashion, and gossip web site “The Gloss” made a particularly harsh report on the new look of Lark Voorhees: “… she does not look all that much like Lisa Turtle any longer. And by “not all that much,” I mean she looks about as much like Lisa Turtle as Courtney Stodden looks like Kermit the Frog.”
“Global Grind”, another gossip website that claims to cover “the latest news in pop-culture, music, politics, world news, and social injustice” blames recent “foundation malfunction” of Lark Voorhees on plastic looks. According to them, “During her first public appearance in about two years at the Where We Started film premiere in L.A., the former actress stopped to speak with the paparazzi about the possibility of a Bayside High reunion. The closer she stepped to the camera, the clearer it became that Lark – or the person in charge of her glam squad – completely forgot to put foundation around her eyes.”
Finally, what would any plastic surgery rumor report be without “Celeb Dirty Laundry” another notorious chinwagging website. In their expose, they exposed Lark Voorhees idiosyncratic interview with People Magazine: “In 2012 Voorhies gave an interview with People Magazine, the interviewer noted that Voorhies wasn’t making any sense and would stop in mid-sentence and mumble to imaginary people. Hoorhies Mom came forward and explained that the 90's star was battling depression and suffered from mental illness, which Voorhies vehemently denied… Since the 2012 People Magazine fiasco Voorhies had pretty much dropped off the radar until Friday when she attended the movie premiere in Hollywood.”
Regardless of whether Lark Voorhees has received plastic surgery or not, we hope she is happy and doing well these days. See you at The Max or the next Bayside High School reunion, Miss Turtle.
