For patients who wish to enhance their breasts naturally, without the aid of silicone implants or saline implants, natural breast enhancement with fat transfers is a promising new solution!
While natural breast enhancement pills, creams, herbal supplements and exercises have been heavily advertised for decades, the effectiveness of these treatments has been criticized and disputed for nearly as long. Now the newest method of natural breast enhancement, fat transfer breast augmentation, may also be the most effective! Read on for more details about this groundbreaking breast augmentation technique!
Largely pioneered by Dr. Robert Langdon, a board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic laser specialist in Connecticut, fat transfer breast augmentation utilizes liposuction technology in conjunction with autologous fat injections to naturally enhance breast tissue.
Once unwanted fat is extracted from the patient's thighs, buttocks, hips, abdomen, etc. through liposuction, the fat cells undergo a filtering and purification process to prepare them for re-insertion. Then, the purified fat cells are injected into the breast tissue at varying points to create safe, natural breast enhancement. Fat transfer breast augmentation can typically enhance the breasts by 150-250 cc's, or 1-2 cup sizes.
In particular, Dr. Langdon relies on Body-Jet, or water-assisted, liposuction to perform fat transfer breast augmentation. Unlike some other liposuction techniques, Body-Jet liposuction creates minimal scarring and/or resulting tissue damage. Body-jet lipo also has a built-in fat filtering system that's highly conducive to fat transfer procedures, for natural breast enhancement, Brazilian butt lifts, etc.
Fat transfer breast augmentation, including the liposuction and fat harvesting, is estimated to take 4-5 hours to perform. Post treatment, natural breast augmentation patients are advised to wear a support bra to initially keep the transferred fat in place.
Fat transfer breast augmentation results are arguably more natural in look and feel than synthetic breast implants are. Natural breast augmentation also eliminates most safety concerns that arise with standard implants. However, when it comes to natural breast augmentation result lengths and candidacy requirements, there are some downsides to consider.
Natural Breast Augmentation Pros:
As listed above, fat transfer breast augmentation offers incredibly safe and natural breast enhancement solutions. Because no breast surgery is required for fat transfer breast augmentation, patients can enjoy enhanced breasts post treatment, minus scars and major breast augmentation side effects.
Breast augmentation patients who experienced complications or were dissatisfied with synthetic implants in the past are now seriously considering fat transfer breast augmentation—including MTV True Life's Amanda, a model who recently had her breast implants removed due to discomfort and other problems.
Natural Breast Augmentation Cons:
In terms of result lengths and cup enhancement options, natural breast augmentation doesn't rank as highly as synthetic breast augmentation. Natural breast augmentation results are only semi-permanent because organic fat cells are prone to change. In particular, fat cells can be affected by diet, exercise and major illnesses. Fat transfer breast augmentation patients can expect the volume of their treated breasts to increase or decrease along with shifting eating and fitness habits.
Natural breast augmentation results may also change in relation to a pregnancy, or following the use of certain medications. As with other fat transfer procedures, the likelihood also exists that a percentage of transferred fat cells will be reabsorbed by the body over time.
The best candidates for fat transfer breast augmentation are healthy women who have a decent amount of existing body fat. Extremely skinny patients won't be candidates for fat transfer breast augmentation, or for liposuction surgery.
Natural breast enhancement patients who desire a dramatic cup increase (more than 2 cup sizes) may require synthetic breast augmentation to fulfill their aesthetic goals. The degree of natural breast enhancement possible will depend on both the patient's preference, and on the amount of existing body fat that's available for harvesting.
Whether a patient is deemed a candidate for fat transfer breast augmentation, or for saline or silicone breast implants, it's imperative they work closely with a local breast augmentation surgeon to identify and discuss all procedure variables prior to treatment.
During your personal consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon, use the time to rule out any and all non-candidacy factors, and to address other natural breast augmentation questions. At this time, patients may also receive natural breast augmentation cost estimates, and can start planning their own unique fat transfer breast augmentation!
