American country music artist Miranda Lambert recently had to defend numerous claims that the entertainer has gone under the knife for plastic surgery. Mrs. Blake Shelton defended herself and her recent physical change by asserting that her recent extreme weight loss had absolutely nothing to do with any cosmetic procedure or treatment.
According to Bustle, the 30-year-old country singer took to her own blog to address the rumors. Although she considers her weight loss as proud moment, her slim figure has been the source of criticism from the media who suspect the celebrity of cosmetic surgery.
In her blog, Lambert sets the record straight. Namely, hard work is what it took to achieve her red-carpet looks.
"Though I NEVER care what the tabloids have to say about me...," starts Lambert. "I wanted to address this certain story they are running this week and set the record straight. I DID NOT have surgery to lose weight. This is ridiculous. I lost my weight the healthy and good old fashioned way. Watching what I eat and working out with my trainer Bill Crutchfield. As for the assumed number of pounds lost...? I don't even know!"
Lambert is not finished, "Like I have always said, it's not about a scale, it's about how you feel and how your jeans fit. And on November 10th when I turned 30, my skinny jeans were finally baggy! Mission accomplished! So for anyone who is tempted to read the "Trash Talk" please don't. I am proud to be a normal size girl and I want to encourage everyone to be confident at any size. Thanks for the support yall!"
Regardless, Lambert did lose a lot of weight and whatever she did to get there, she appears as good as ever!
