For nearly three decades, Leah Remini has been gracing our television screens. The New York native's first roles came in the last 80s and early 90s, when she guest starred on such hits as "Who's the Boss?" and "Saved by the Bell." Later, Remini starred for nine seasons on "The King of Queens," and she has had a slew of projects since that show's cancellation in 2008. Obviously, anybody who has lived in the public eye for that long will face more than their fair share of scrutiny, and recently Remini's fans have begun to speculate about what types of cosmetic enhancements the actress has undergone.
Lately, Remini has developed a reputation for being notoriously outspoken. In particular, Remini's favorite target has been the Church of Scientology. Since leaving Scientology in 2013 – after having been a member for over 30 years – Remini has been extremely vocal in her condemnations of the organization, even going so far as to produce a television show about the negative impacts of the church. Despite her unreserved nature, Remini hasn't spoken much about her forays into cosmetic enhancement, leaving her fans and pop culture watchers to speculate.
According to professional plastic surgeons, Remini's current appearance does promote speculation about procedures she may have undergone in the past. For example, the fullness of her cheeks suggests that she may have received dermal filler injections. Additionally, the shape of her nose could point to Remini having undergone rhinoplasty at some point in her life. Also, the angular shape of her chin could mean that she's had some filler work done there as well. Plus, the smoothness around her eyes could point to fillers or Botox injections.
All of this is pure speculation, however, and ultimately there is no way to tell what kind of work, Leah Remini has had performed. It is equally possible that the money she earned from her various television projects as well as her access to the skincare experts in Hollywood has enabled her to retain her youthful appearance naturally.
Still, we do have one clue as to the type of cosmetic enhancement that Remini may enjoy. After a Twitter user called out Remini's lips as fake, the fiery actress shot back that her lips were completely real, but maybe it was the Botox injections that had altered the overall look of her face.
So it would seem that Remini has had at least some work done. And if plastic surgery rumors continue to swirl, you can count on the candid actress to speak out about them. After all, this is a woman who isn't afraid to take on the entire Church of Scientology.
