Did Brad Pitt Have Plastic Surgery?

Brad Pitt has long been synonymous with “gorgeous.” Those old enough to remember Shania Twain’s 1997 hit, “That Don’t Impress Me Much” will recall the line, “Oh-oo-oh, you think you're something else. Okay, so you're Brad Pitt. That don't impress me much.” Pitt, now 54, has looks that still inspire awe. After a nasty and well-publicized divorce from Angelina Jolie, who can blame Pitt if he decided a little plastic surgery might lift not only his face but his spirits? Of course, at this point, the plastic surgery rumors are just that – gossip, with no firm foundation. Let’s take a look at Pitt’s looks.

Still a Big Star

Pitt may be heading into late middle age, but he’s still one of the world’s major male movie stars. “Friends” report that Pitt wasn’t eating or sleeping well during the divorce, and he underwent some minor, non-invasive procedures to keep him looking his best. Even for a guy as fit as Pitt, that kind of stress does take a toll on the body and looks. Since he works all the time, it makes sense that he wants to look as good as possible – his face is his fortune.

Botox or No Booze?

Another so-called source told a celebrity gossip magazine that Pitt underwent eye work and had fillers injected by a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon. A competing gossip site declared the assertion bogus, stating that Pitt’s photos from last year look almost indistinguishable from current pictures and that the improvement in his looks is a result of giving up booze, not relying on Botox. The site states that Pitt is taking better care of himself physically – and not drinking will improve almost anybody’s appearance – and that’s the reason he’s looking terrific. Pitt himself told GQ he’s on a healthy lifestyle kick with no “boozing.” So there you go – two gossip sites with a different take on a movie star’s appearance, and said movie star probably could give a rat’s patootie.

Surgeons Who Have Never Met Pitt Weigh In

Certain plastic surgeons – who have never seen Pitt in the flesh, let alone worked on him – have weighed in on the plastic surgery rumors for various publications. One plastic surgeon, based in New Jersey, examined “before and after” pix of the superstar and opined that Pitt had his forehead smoothed and fillers injected. To the average person, Pitt just looks more rested than he did during his divorce and family drama. Keep on eye on that face for subsequent changes – there are worse ways to spend your time.
