Ever wanted to see what over 100,000 dollars in plastic and cosmetic surgery looks like? Well, look no further than Brazilian born Rodrigo Alves, who describes himself as a worldwide jetsetter who lives in London, parties in Vegas, beaches in Miami, shops in Dubai, and dines in LA. Rodrigo should probably add getting plastic surgery in Colombia to his list.
According to a recent interview with Elenco magazine, Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves is heading to Columbia for his latest round of plastic and cosmetic surgery. This time around, this plastic surgery aficionado is getting a rhinoplasty
Alves claims that he goes to Columbia on account of the surgeon, who is “very well qualified”. The reduced rates for plastic and cosmetic surgery in Columbia are surely persuasive as well. Alves states that having a smaller and more symmetric nose fulfills his personal dream of the perfect nose. Elenco quotes Alves as confessing that plastic and cosmetic surgery makes him feel more “secure and confident”.
Says Alves, "I just did my cheekbones and I have them higher and larger, like Sofia Vergara's.” Alves also states he takes his treatments with him. “At home, I have a crystal machine for exfoliation, another to kill skin bacteria and boost collagen and another to whiten teeth."
The 30 year old self-proclaimed “jetsetter” has had in excess of 100,000 dollars in plastic surgery. The Latin Post listed a portion of Rodrigo’s surgeries and treatments, which includes six-pack and pec implants, botox fillers, calf shaping and liposuction. “One time a Brazilian doctor injected him with a gel that was supposed to make his arms looks more muscular. He ended up with an infection, which paralyzed him. ‘On the second day I was left paralyzed in both arms," he said. "I was relying on my family to look after me. I was crying every, I was extremely depressed, it was very shocking. I would just pray and cry. It nearly got to the stage where they were talking about chopping my arm off. The doctors said if the bacteria had gone to my heart I would have died.’”
Alves first began getting plastic and cosmetic surgery when he was just 20 years old. Alves confesses that he was extremely unhappy and insecure about his looks as a child. "They said it was the biggest nose they'd ever seen," he states. "I hated my nose so much and when the swelling went down I was delighted with the results. From that moment on I was hooked."
