Artefill® is a dermal filler that offers results that can last a lifetime.  Restylane and other HA dermal fillers can last 6 months to a year.  Artefill lasts at least 5 years and can be permanent.  Artefill (formerly known as Artecoll) is composed of 80% bovine collagen and 20% Precision-Filtered Microspheres™.  These microscopic spheres are made from a material called PMMA, a synthetic polymer, or plastic, common in medical implants.

Artefill is the first and only FDA-approved wrinkle filler designed for the correction of smile lines that will not get absorbed by the body.  The patented microspheres provides the permanent support your skin needs to correct facial wrinkles and prevent further wrinkles from forming. 

This dermal filler has been clinically tested and FDA approved for nasolabial folds (laugh lines), however, other uses for Artefill include lip, chin, and cheek augmentation as well as filling in acne scars and other facial wrinkles or creases.  Since, Artefill injections offer such long lasting results, this aesthetic product is recommended for those who have already enjoyed the results of dermal fillers like Restylane, Juvederm, and Radiesse.

What are the Side Effects of Artefill?
